Medications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Malarone (for Malaria).\u00a0 $197 at Costco for 32 day supply<\/li>\n<li>Doxycycline for African Tick Fever.\u00a0 $4.99 generic at Costco&#8211; 10 day supply<\/li>\n<li>Cipro for runny runs.\u00a0 $5.00\u00a0 generic at Costco&#8211;5 day supply.<\/li>\n<li>Zithromax.\u00a0 $14.95 for a pack-<\/li>\n<li>Benadryl creme<\/li>\n<li>Antibiotic creme<\/li>\n<li>Tylenol or over counter pain killer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Summer clothes&#8211;long sleeves including hat&#8211;flip flops<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 Camera&#8211;batteries&#8211;media cards<\/p>\n<p>6. Solio solar charger for cell phone charging with proper tip to fit phone.\u00a0 Solio is very responsive on the phone and helped me with a last minute purchase with correct connectors and 2 day shipping.\u00a0 Need to take a pencil to prop it up in the sun.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0 Recording device with batteries and SD cards for recording self..<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0 Passport and a copy of the passport.<\/p>\n<p>9. Addresses and phone numbers including e-mail addresses for those back home.<\/p>\n<p>10. UV water purifier available through REI.\u00a0 I got mine at the local travel store in Ashland.<\/p>\n<p>11.\u00a0 Protein snacks.<\/p>\n<p>12.\u00a0 Water bottle empty.<\/p>\n<p>13.\u00a0 PJ&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>14.\u00a0 Binoculars (50 species of birds on site).<\/p>\n<p>15.\u00a0 Purell hand sanitizer and hand wipes (for mangoes).<\/p>\n<p>16.\u00a0 soap for washing hair and clothes.\u00a0 Dr. Bonner&#8217;s Peppermint soap was recommended by Rosalie and sold at the local travel store as well as the Ashland Food Coop.\u00a0 This worked very well for hair and handwashing.<\/p>\n<p>17.\u00a0 Ipod or music to travel by..<\/p>\n<p>18.\u00a0 Coffee and coffee cone-maybe a cup..<\/p>\n<p>19.\u00a0 notebook and pencil for taking notes and writing down words.<\/p>\n<p>20. Cash in USD dated 2000 or sooner. Lots of one dollar bills.
